We are a very friendly dance group who love to dance and socialise. Friendships are formed here and become as important as the dance we all love.  Modern Jive is a partner dance which is easy to learn as the footwork is quite simple. The style of dance is loosely based on various types of dance including Latin, Ballroom, Jive and others. Most important of all, it is great fun and a brilliant way to make new friends.

Join Jo's Zumba Gold, dance routines to fabulous music. Suitable for either the older active adult and those returning to or completely new to exercise.

Mixed Ability Pilates Class. Improve balance, core control, strength and flexibility in a relaxed, friendly class environment lead by an experienced chartered physiotherapist. Class cost is £9.

We started our U3A Pickleball group in Jan 2024, we were all new to pickleball and, to be honest, we didn’t know if we would have enough interest to sustain a group. What started tentatively on a trial basis has grown rather quickly to a group of more than 40 enthusiastic players. In fact, we’re so popular now that we run three sessions week, and we’ve had to open a waiting list.

Our bateria (“band”) is accessible to all. It is multi-ability and we have a wide range of ages who play with us. With careful management, and due to the way samba works, it is easy to spread members around so less-experienced people get the support they need, and more-experienced players can still feel challenged.

We are a friendly group of ladies who meet each Friday morning to play badminton, we’re open to new members – come along to try it out, to join the group, have fun and get fit.
