Powerhouse are a five-piece ceilidh band from Sheffield consisting of melodeon, flute, electric guitar, bass and drums. Formed in 2017, they were brought together by a mutual love of rock, beer, general geekiness and ceilidh and combine traditional tunes with rock riffage, heavy metal and pop culture to tempt even the most determined non-dancer.
Join Heisk, a Scottish Folk band with a musical style tailored for dance parties with support from Olta. This six-piece traditional outfit are a force on stage. Fusing accordion, fiddle, electro harp, kit and keys with big energy and bold riffs, they twist traditional and self-penned tunes into something fresh.
Come as you are and mingle with all of us with your heart open to receive. This is an event of togetherness - of laughter, and perhaps it might be the beginning of another journey for you. If you are a book lover, you are welcome, and if you are not, that's fine too. There is room for everyone.

Modern Jive is a partner dance which is easy to learn as the footwork is quite simple. The style of dance is loosely based on various types of dance including Latin, Ballroom, Jive and others. Most important of all, it is great fun and a brilliant way to make new friends.
